創校簡史

本校為中華傳道會主辦第二間津貼中學,以李賢堯紀念中學命名,藉以紀念已故李賢堯先生對基督教教育的貢獻。李賢堯先生哲嗣李銘標先生成立李賢堯基金,並捐助李中開辦費一百六十萬元。於一九八一年九月,李賢堯紀念中學正式成立,由於當時校舍建築工程尚未完成,第一年的六班中一暫借鄰近之栢立基教育學院校友會李一諤紀念學校校舍上課,至八二年九月,正式遷入葵盛盛福街一號現址。

History

Our school is the second aided secondary school founded by Christian Nationals' Evangelism Commission(C.N.E.C.). The school is named after the late Mr. Lee I Yao for his contributions to Christian education. His son, Albert Lee, established the Lee I Yao Fund and donated $1.6 million for the school’s establishment. Our first admissions began in September 1981 before the completion of the school campus. The first six classes had their lessons on the campus of S.R.B.C.E.P.S.A. Lee Yat Ngok Memorial School .In September 1982, our school moved to its current site located in 1 Shing Fuk Street.
